ME News message. On April 5 (UTC+8), the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that on the morning of April 5, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy and the Aerospace Force jointly launched “True Promise -4” Operation Wave 96 strikes.

The statement said the Revolutionary Guard Corps launched a fierce attack on the Haifa oil refinery that provides fuel to Israeli fighter jets, destroying its core components; missiles were used to strike the natural gas facilities of U.S. ExxonMobil and Chevron located in Abu Dhabi’s Habshan in the UAE, as well as the petrochemical plant located in Ruwais, UAE. In addition, multiple petrochemical facilities in Bahrain’s Sitra and in Kuwait’s Shuaiba were also hit by drones and missiles, causing the relevant facilities to come to a complete standstill and triggering large-scale fires.
