** 【Caixin Global】**On April 3 afternoon, Tiandian Technology released an announcement stating that at 12:00 noon that day, the “Tianlong-3” Long One carrier rocket was ignited and launched from the Dongfeng commercial aerospace innovation test zone. The rocket’s flight was abnormal, and the first flight test mission failed. The specific cause is being further analyzed and investigated.

Tiandian Technology said it has, together with relevant experts and technical teams, strictly implemented the zeroing procedure and carried out rectification work to ensure the successful completion of subsequent launch missions.

Industry insiders told Caixin Global that zeroing means reviewing the entire process—from the design to manufacturing of the rocket—to ensure the fault situation can be completely reproduced, so that the cause of the malfunction can be identified. Design improvements and test verification are then used to ensure the problem is systematically eliminated.
