April 5: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement on April 5, saying that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy and the Aerospace Force jointly launched the 96th wave of the “True Promise-4” operation in the early hours of April 5. The statement said that the Revolutionary Guard Corps launched a fierce attack on the Haifa refinery that provided fuel to Israeli fighter jets, destroying its core components; it used missiles to strike the natural gas facilities of ExxonMobil and Chevron in Habshan, the United Arab Emirates, as well as a petrochemical plant in Ruwais, the United Arab Emirates. In addition, multiple petrochemical facilities in Bahrain’s Sitra and Kuwait’s Shu‘aybah were also hit by drones and missiles, causing the related facilities’ operations to come to a complete standstill and triggering large-scale fires.
