Kuwait’s state news agency reported earlier on Sunday that Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said that after a drone attack, a fire broke out at its oil industry complex building in Shuwaikh, where both the Ministry of Oil and the headquarters of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation are located.

Quoting information from the Ministry of Finance, Kuwait’s official media said that an Iranian drone hit a government ministry office complex building, causing significant property damage, but with no casualties.

On Sunday, Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity and Water said that the Iranian drone attack targeted two power and seawater desalination plants, causing severe damage that led to two generating units being taken out of service.

According to Kuwait’s official media, none of the above incidents resulted in injuries.

As the latest attack unfolded, the war between the United States and Israel against Iran had entered its sixth week, with the scope of the conflict continuing to expand. Tehran has carried out strikes against Israel and the Gulf Arab countries hosting U.S. military facilities.

Iran has not yet issued an official response.
