Middle East Situation | Iran and Pakistan Foreign Ministers Hold Phone Call to Discuss Regional Developments
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi spoke by phone with Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, discussing the regional situation and bilateral relations. Araghchi reiterated that Iran will use all its power to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Araghchi said that the United States and Israel, as the initiators of this “imposed war,” should be held responsible for the deterioration of regional security conditions and their global impact.
He also thanked Pakistan for its diplomatic efforts and condemned a series of attacks launched by the United States and Israel against Iran, criticizing that the relevant actions seriously violate international law and calling on the international community to respond firmly.
Dar emphasized that the relevant objectives should be advanced by continuing consultations.
