People’s Finance News, 1 April: On 1 April, Xinhenghui (301678) issued an announcement. The company plans to subscribe RMB 100 million for the newly increased registered capital of Rongxin Semiconductor (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. (referred to as the “target company” or “Rongxin Semiconductor”). Based on the round of capital increase scale of RMB 4 billion, upon completion of this transaction, the company will hold 0.5882% of the equity of the target company.

The target company is a domestic 12-inch integrated circuit manufacturing enterprise that was among the first to introduce market-oriented capital operations. It focuses on 28 to 180 nanometer mature-node process featured technologies, and its principal business revolves around mixed-signal and analog integrated circuit products. It has laid out product areas including CIS image sensor chips, 5V mixed-signal, BCD, HV, and others, and has successfully developed multiple technical process platforms. Its products are widely used in scenarios such as industrial control, consumer electronics, digital home, mobile communications, and automotive electronics.

With domestic integrated circuit industry self-control and controllable supply needs becoming increasingly urgent, breaking through technology monopolies in this field has become a clear directive at the level of national strategy. Moreover, with the explosive growth in demand for advanced chips such as AI and high-performance computing, the market continues to grow at sustained high speed, providing local breakthrough entrants with unprecedented opportunities and enormous space.

In this transaction, the company invests in the target company through an equity capital increase.
