The U.S. has repatriated and handed over a drug-related fugitive to China.

People’s Finance and News, April 3—Reporter April 3 learned from the Ministry of Public Security that, based on leads reported by China’s drug control authorities, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has, through immigration enforcement cooperation channels, deported and handed over a Chinese national criminal suspect in the U.S., Han, who is suspected of smuggling and trafficking illegal drugs, to the Chinese side. This is the first drug-related fugitive that the U.S. has returned and transferred to China in recent years, marking a new achievement in China-U.S. drug enforcement cooperation. (Xinhua)
