Deep Tide TechFlow message. On April 04, according to on-chain analyst Ember (@EmberCN) monitoring, after a $285 million theft incident occurred on Drift Protocol, FTX/Alameda, about 6 hours ago, sold 6.94 million DRIFT through Wintermute, raising roughly $320k.

Previously, Alameda had acted as an investor in Drift Protocol. A year ago, it obtained 8.33 million DRIFT through vesting unlocks, which at the time was worth about $6.22 million. However, impacted by this theft incident, the token’s value has since fallen sharply to around $380k. This time, the sale is worth only about $320k—its investment return has nearly been halved.
