Xinhua News Agency, New York, March 29 — Affected by the ongoing heightened tensions in the Middle East, international oil prices continued to rise during the new week’s trading that began late on the 29th in U.S. Eastern Time. After New York crude oil futures opened higher, they climbed to around $103 per barrel. London Brent crude oil futures moved above $116 per barrel during the session, approaching the intraday peak recorded since the outbreak of the U.S.-Iran conflict.
