U.S. launches 337 investigation against companies such as Hisense

On April 2, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) announced that it had voted to initiate a “337 investigation” into certain display devices, streaming media players, and their components. The companies targeted in this investigation include multiple companies under Hisense, and it also includes U.S. smart TV and streaming platform company Roku (Roku, Inc.), as well as Purple Tag Media Technology’s companies in Shanghai, Guangdong, China, and in Mexico.
