Fangchenggang Port Adds a New Bauxite Transshipment-to-Water Transfer Service

Recently, with the “Haichangsheng” vessel successfully berthing at Pier No. 407 of Fangchenggang Port, it marks that the company has added a new bauxite transshipment-to-water transfer service.

Leveraging its geographic advantages, complete facilities, and a sound business environment, Fangchenggang Port has become an ideal transshipment port for customers’ bauxite transshipment-to-water operations. Previously, the company proactively moved forward with services; around the individualized unloading-demand needs, all production departments jointly formulated a detailed plan covering every step such as transportation, unloading, transshipment-to-water, and stockyard storage, and established a rapid-response mechanism. Fangchenggang Fish Ke Port Area, Pier No. 401

(Phase II) The first batch of bucket-wheel stacker-reclaimer

completes unloading

On March 26, the first batch of 2 bucket-wheel stacker-reclaimers for the Pier No. 401 (Phase II) project in the Fangchenggang Fish Ke Port Area successfully completed unloading and transfer, indicating that the project has officially moved from civil construction to onsite assembly.

The Pier No. 401 (Phase II) project is a key project serving the construction of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor. After being put into operation, it will effectively enhance Fangchenggang Port’s throughput capability for bulk commodities. The project is equipped with four bucket-wheel stacker-reclaimers. Each complete unit weighs 1100 tons. The rated stacking and reclaiming capacity are both 4500 tons per hour. It is equipped with an intelligent automated operation system and is a key piece of equipment to improve the efficiency of bulk cargo loading and unloading at the port. After the equipment arrived, the project team carefully developed plans and refined work procedures, efficiently completing tasks such as unloading, counting, and transportation. Throughout the entire process, it strictly upheld the safety bottom line to ensure zero transfer errors and zero incidents for the equipment. Truck Gantry Track Project

Successfully Passes Completion Acceptance

Recently, the newly built truck gantry track project for four heavy-box yard areas at Berth 1–2 of Beijisi successfully passed completion acceptance and has been officially put into use, laying a solid hardware foundation for safe and stable production.

The total length of the construction tracks is 2178 meters. To balance both construction quality/efficiency and production operations without compromise, the Engineering and Technology Department, after demonstrating multiple方案, ultimately decided to adopt a construction plan in which each yard is divided into 2 segments. It also tested a new process for lifting and connecting the old and new tracks, ensuring that during segment transitions, the bridge cranes achieve seamless connection to the new tracks. The Beibu Gulf Port Beihai Tieshan Port East Port Area organizes

and carries out a fishery resource compensation and enhancement stock release activity

Recently, the Beibu Gulf Port Beihai Tieshan Port East Port Area’s Lan gen work area organized a fishery resource compensation and enhancement stock release activity for the inbound navigation channel project. More than 70 people participated in the activity, including representatives from competent departments such as the Beihai Municipal Ocean Bureau, the Beihai Municipal Marine Economy Development Service Center, and the Beihai Municipal Marine and Fishery Comprehensive Law Enforcement Detachment, as well as representatives of fishermen.

In this activity, six varieties of high-quality seedlings, including black porgy, yellowfin porgy, longhorn shrimp, and sand crab (拟穴青蟹), were released—more than 55 million tails (or individuals/seedlings) in total. The activity strictly follows technical specifications, scientifically releases the stock in different areas, and is supervised throughout by a notary institution to ensure openness and transparency. Beijisi Newly Adds Two New Energy Reach Stackers

On March 27, two brand-new fully electric reach stackers purchased by Beijisi were officially put into operation, further promoting large-scale application and promotion of new energy at the port.

This batch of reach stacker attachments has five core advantages: high safety, high intelligence, high comfort, long operating range, and low energy consumption. The rated lifting capacity is 45 tons. It adopts a brand-new U-shaped boom design. By optimizing the structural load distribution, it reduces the number of weld seams and increases the contact area of the slider block, effectively lowering structural stress—bringing the equipment’s fatigue life up to 50,000 hours, far exceeding the usage standard of conventional box-shaped booms. It is equipped with a patented reversible counterweight mounting device, allowing the equipment’s center of gravity to move back by 1 meter; the lifting capacity at the 3rd row is increased to 17 tons, significantly improving the equipment’s safe operating performance. Clean Governance Co-Construction Units jointly carry out a themed activity

On April 1, the Qinbei Port Discipline Inspection Commission, together with 9 clean governance co-construction units of the Beibu Gulf International Gateway Port (Beihai segment), about 40 cadres and staff members went to Hepu to carry out the themed activity “Inherit Red Gene, Promote New Integrity Style, Create Solid Political Performance.”

The activity includes onsite study and reflection, recalling oaths, micro-Party classes, and educational screenings, etc., to deepen the construction of a culture of integrity. It has achieved an organic linkage between patriotism, establishing the correct view of political performance, and integrity education. On April 2, the Beigang Energy and Chemical Industry Party General Sub-branch organized more than 30 Party members and leading cadres to visit the Memorial Monument for the Revolutionary Martyrs of the Chinese and Vietnamese People and the Integrity Education Base of the People’s Court of Fangchenggang City’s Fangcheng District, and carried out the themed Party Day activity “Remember the Heroes at Qingming, Forge Duty with Political Performance.”

In front of the Memorial Monument for the Revolutionary Martyrs of the Chinese and Vietnamese People, all Party members paid tribute to the martyrs and renewed their oath upon joining the Party.
