ME News update, April 1 (UTC+8), ICML 2026 will host a workshop titled “Scalable Learning and Optimization (SCALE) for Efficient Multimodal AI Agents,” focusing on the increasingly important multimodal agent systems on high-value platforms such as AI PCs, robotics, and autonomous network interactions. The workshop calls for papers around five core themes: agent memory, efficient agent AI systems, multimodal agent scalability, multimodal agents for planning, and evaluation and benchmark testing. Submissions are divided into a main track (up to 8 pages) and a latest progress track (up to 2 pages), using double-blind peer review and are non-archival in nature. Key dates include: the paper submission deadline of April 24, 2026, and author notifications on May 15. The agenda will include invited talks, panel discussions, and poster presentations.
