ChainCatcher message: blockchain security company CertiK said that in March 2026 it recorded 46 security incidents, for total losses of about $39.8 million (excluding phishing). This is the highest number of security incidents recorded in a month since November 2024.

CertiK also said that after hitting a low point in the third quarter of 2025, the number of security incidents increased in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026; the exploitation of code vulnerabilities has become more frequent, which may be related to the rise of artificial intelligence.
