IDC Directions 2026 Conference will be held in a week, focusing on the AI-driven future

ME News update, April 1 (UTC+8). IDC officially announced that the IDC Directions 2026 conference will be held on April 8, 2026 in Boston, USA, with the aim of bringing together technology and business leaders to discuss the future driven by artificial intelligence. The conference’s core topics include how organizations should respond to economic uncertainty, changes in the labor market, and the transition from AI pilots to enterprise-grade, autonomous agentic execution. The agenda includes keynote speeches and four breakout forums. The keynote will cover the transformation of trusted technology intelligence, the two stages of the AI supercycle (infrastructure buildout and the wave of enterprise applications), and AI spending forecasts, and will look ahead to the “agent economy” and the reconfiguration of the technology stack, with enterprises operating more than 1 billion AI agents by 2029. The conference also features an “AI Lab” for hands-on experience, and offers one-on-one analyst interactions, peer networking, and post-conference VIP content. (Source: InFoQ)
