Railway transportation for the Qingming Festival holiday starts today

People’s Finance News, April 3—According to information from the China State Railway Group, the five-day rail Qingming Festival holiday passenger transport kicked off today. From today through April 7, China’s railways are expected to send a total of 90.50 million passengers. April 4 is the peak day of passenger flow, with an expected 21.20 million passengers sent. During the Qingming holiday transport period, railways nationwide will operate peak-period timetables. On major high-speed corridors such as the Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Shanghai, and Beijing-Harbin lines, night high-speed trains will be scheduled and run. The planned average daily number of passenger trains to be operated is over 13k. (CCTV News)
