People’s Finance and Information April 2—On April 2, Japanese Prime Minister Hayashi Sanae, at a plenary session of the House of Representatives, when asked whether worsening conditions in the Middle East could lead to surging energy prices, and thereby require the public to save energy and improve energy efficiency, said that the possibility cannot be ruled out, and that the government will take on-the-spot measures in response.
