ME News announcement: On April 1 (UTC+8), ICML 2026 will host a workshop titled “Scalable Learning and Optimization for Efficient Multimodal AI Agents (SCALE),” focusing on multimodal agent systems that are becoming increasingly important in high-value platforms such as AI PCs, robotics, and autonomous network interactions. The workshop invites papers around five core themes: agent memory, efficient agent AI systems, scaling multimodal agents, multimodal agents for planning, and evaluation and benchmarking. Submissions are divided into a main track (up to 8 pages) and a latest progress track (up to 2 pages), using double-blind review and not being for archival purposes. Key dates include: the paper submission deadline of April 24, 2026, and author notifications on May 15. The agenda will include keynote talks, panel discussions, and poster presentations.
