Russia announces extension of temporary gasoline export restrictions until July 31

People’s Finance News, April 2: On April 2, the Government of the Russian Federation announced that it would extend the temporary export restrictions on gasoline for the country’s oil product producers to July 31. The decision was made to ensure stability in the domestic fuel market during the seasonal demand peak and the period of agricultural field work, and also because geopolitical developments in the Middle East have pushed up international oil prices. The restriction does not apply to supplies made under international intergovernmental agreements. (CCTV News)
