ME News message, April 1 (UTC+8), IDC’s official announcement: The IDC Directions 2026 conference will be held on April 8, 2026 in Boston, United States. Its goal is to bring together technology and business leaders to discuss the future driven by artificial intelligence. The conference’s core topics include how organizations should respond to economic uncertainty, changes in the labor market, and the transition from AI pilots to enterprise-level, autonomous agentic execution (Agentic). The agenda includes a keynote speech and four breakout forums. The keynote will cover the transformation of trusted technical intelligence, two stages of the AI supercycle (infrastructure buildout and the wave of enterprise applications), as well as AI spending forecasts, and will look ahead to 2029—when enterprises run more than 1 billion AI agents—the “Agent Economy” and the reconstruction of the technology stack. The conference also features an “AI Lab” for hands-on experience, and offers one-on-one analyst interactions, peer networking, and VIP content after the event. (Source: InFoQ)
