Just checked the liquidation data from the past 24 hours and it's pretty wild out there. The network saw a total of $701 million liquidated across the board, with long positions taking the bigger hit at $528 million while shorts got liquidated for $173 million.

Bitcoin longs were hit hardest with $216 million liquidated, though BTC shorts only saw $45.79 million in liquidations. Ethereum wasn't spared either - $198 million in ETH long liquidations and $87.40 million on the short side. Over 156,000 traders worldwide got liquidated in the same period, which is insane. The biggest single liquidation happened on an ETH-USDT pair hitting $8.4 million.

Clearly a rough day for leveraged traders. Market's been volatile and it shows in these numbers.
