Beijing Bank Holds 2026 Comprehensive Strict Governance of the Party and Discipline Inspection & Supervision Work Conference

On April 2, the Bank of Beijing held its 2026 meeting on advancing full and strict Party governance along with discipline inspection and supervision work. The Bank of Beijing Party Committee Secretary, Guan Wenjie, attended the meeting and delivered remarks. The Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Qian Huajie, chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, Dai Wei, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and President of the Bank of Beijing, conveyed the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the fifth plenary session of the 13th Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and the 2026 municipal SASAC system meeting on advancing full and strict Party governance. The meeting emphasized

We must accurately grasp the important requirements of the Central Party leadership on full and strict Party governance; we must accurately grasp the “best-in-class” standard for full and strict Party governance in Beijing; and we must accurately grasp the high-pressure posture toward full and strict Party governance at financial state-owned enterprises. We will firmly align our thinking and actions with the major judgments and key arrangements of the Central Party Committee. We will maintain exceptional clarity and exceptional resolve regarding the situation in the fight against corruption, and we will advance the “three no’s against corruption” in an integrated manner, resolutely crack down on issues where financial corruption and financial risks are intertwined.

The meeting requested

We will carry out well the study and education program on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, implement all requirements of the Central Party Committee and the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, draw on the spirit of self-revolution, and earnestly conduct a comparison to identify deviations in the view of political achievements reflected behind various problems. We will resolutely implement all requirements for full and strict Party governance. First, taking political guidance as the forerunner, we will ensure that promoting political commitments is carried into specific actions; second, taking theoretical armament as the foundation, we will be good at using the language of the times to tell the Party’s stories; third, supported by building organizations, we will build a high-quality, professionalized team of cadres and talent; fourth, with the assurance of work style building, we will shape a plain, solid, and implementable work style; fifth, using discipline building as the bottom line, we will continue to create a sound political ecosystem characterized by integrity and good governance; and sixth, taking responsibility for governing the Party and managing it in a strict manner, we will form a strong momentum and synergy in joint efforts with shared responsibilities. We will use high-quality Party building to guide high-quality development, carry out continuous study activities to learn from best practices among peers, strengthen group-based management in an all-around way, promote coordinated development across the entire bank, and strive to open a new journey for the Bank of Beijing’s “15th Five-Year Plan” period.

Discipline inspection and supervision work should play the role of oversight and ensuring implementation, and promoting the improvement of development. With higher standards, we will work together to build a clear and beautiful bank. We will keep strengthening efforts in conducting in-depth political oversight to help leading cadres and employees across the bank establish and practice a correct view of political achievements; we will keep strengthening efforts in deepening work style building to resolutely and unswervingly implement the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulations; we will keep strengthening efforts in deepening the integrated advancement of the “three no’s against corruption,” to more powerfully and effectively eliminate the soil and conditions that allow financial corruption to grow; we will keep strengthening efforts in deepening the major oversight mechanism to promote high-efficiency governance through high-quality oversight; and we will keep strengthening efforts in推进 the “three modernizations” construction, to forge a discipline inspection and supervision team that is loyal, clean, and担当-minded, and brave and willing to fight.
