Trump orders all federal agencies to immediately cease using Anthropic's technology

Local time on February 27, U.S. President Trump posted on a social platform: “I instruct every federal agency of the U.S. government to immediately stop using Anthropic’s technology.” Trump said that agencies that use Anthropic products at different levels, such as the Department of Defense, will have a six-month transition period to gradually phase them out. “Anthropic had better be smart and cooperate during the phase-out transition period; otherwise, I will use all the power of the presidency to force them to comply and pursue their major civil and criminal responsibilities,” he said in the post.
