On April 3, a special research delegation led by Academician Ling Wenyuan, Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Association for Science and Technology, visited Kute Intelligent. Experts from institutions including Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Antai School of Economics and Management, the Institute of Environmental Social Governance, the China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute, and others took part. The delegation conducted in-depth research on “Industrial intelligent agents empowering the development of new quality productive forces in manufacturing.” Kute Intelligent’s Chairman Zhang Yunlan and other relevant company executives received the delegation.

This research aims to thoroughly implement the national strategic plans for developing new quality productive forces and advancing new-type industrialization, systematically sort out the application status, key pathways, and development trends of industrial intelligent agents in the manufacturing sector, and promote deep integration between artificial intelligence and the real economy.

First, the delegation visited Kute Intelligent’s large-scale mass personalized intelligent customization factory, experiencing firsthand the end-to-end digital and intelligent operations from customer needs to production delivery. At a subsequent symposium, Zhang Yunlan introduced in detail the company’s exploration and practices in the field of industrial intelligent agents, especially the high-level demand-supply supply chain system driven by Kute AGI as the core, as well as the general-purpose foundation for OPC (One Company).

Kute AGI: A pioneering practice of industrial intelligent agents

As one of the first batch of intelligent manufacturing pilot and demonstration enterprises under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Kute Intelligent began exploring digital and intelligent transformation as early as 2003. After more than two decades of sustained investment and iteration, the company has successfully run through the industry-level general artificial intelligence—Kute AGI—building a complete solution covering a digital and intelligent enterprise-level operating system, intelligent agent enterprises, and intelligent agent enterprise clusters.

In the application layer of industrial intelligent agents, Kute Intelligent builds a flexible manufacturing intelligent core covering the entire chain of “demand—operations—governance” through its three major AI-native products: Ku Xiaojiang (AI designer), Ku Xiaoyi (AI operations assistant), and Ku Xiaozhi (AI organizational architect). This not only enables “what you see is what you get” from customer ideas to shop-floor production, but also replaces traditional experience-based management with data-driven approaches, fundamentally reshaping the enterprise governance framework. Currently, Kute AGI has successfully empowered more than 150 traditional enterprises across 50-plus industries, including apparel and footwear, machinery, electronics, chemicals, healthcare, and others, helping partners address pain points such as low R&D efficiency, inventory backlogs, and difficult supply chain coordination.

Multi-agent collaboration: Reshaping the mode of production organization

In terms of intelligent agent enterprise clusters, Kute Intelligent has completed the construction of the “Kute production intelligent agent enterprise cluster” in Weifang City, Shandong Province, enabling efficient coordination among multiple intelligent agents, rapid response, and coordinated planning. It is a real application scenario for industry-level general-purpose artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, Kute Intelligent replaces all functional nodes inside the enterprise with intelligent agents—turning one enterprise into a small intelligent agent cluster; and multiple intelligent agent enterprises can then efficiently collaborate to form an even larger intelligent agent enterprise cluster. This model breaks the constraints of traditional hierarchical management systems, creating a new operational paradigm characterized by decentralization and a high level of autonomy.

Experts from the research delegation believe that Kute Intelligent’s exploration not only provides reusable methodologies for the digital and intelligent transformation of manufacturing, but also offers compelling empirical evidence for the transformation of production relations under the backdrop of new quality productive forces.

Chairman Ling Wen at the symposium site

Chairman Ling Wen gave a highly positive assessment of Kute Intelligent’s innovative achievements in the field of industrial intelligent agents. He pointed out that Kute Intelligent has evolved from a traditional manufacturing enterprise into an intelligent agent enterprise with core AGI technology, charting a path of independent innovation. Its experience is of important reference value for promoting high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry.

Zhang Yunlan said that the company will continue to uphold the philosophy of “reconstructing value through technology,” deepen the technical R&D of Kute AGI and the rollout in real-world scenarios, and continuously empower the digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. It will contribute Kute’s efforts to developing new quality productive forces and advancing new-type industrialization.
