Russian presidential press secretary: Russia and the U.S. maintain contact on Ukraine issues
Local time on March 25, Russian presidential press secretary Peskov said at that day’s briefing that each round of negotiations on the Ukraine issue brings the solution closer to being reached. He said Russia’s contacts with the United States on the Ukraine issue are still ongoing, and that Russia has received relevant information from the U.S. side about the negotiation process with the Ukrainian side. Peskov noted that any mediation on the Ukraine issue must take Russia’s interests into account, and that Russia expects the U.S. side to continue playing a facilitating role in mediating the Ukraine issue. He emphasized that Russia welcomes the resumption of any form of dialogue with the U.S., including dialogue at the parliamentary level, which is in the interests of both countries. (CCTV News)
