Apple has reportedly discontinued its Mac Pro tower desktop computer, a product commonly used by creative professionals that had not received a significant update since 2023. The discontinuation follows the introduction of several new Apple products in early March, including a new iPhone and iPad, and comes as newer, more powerful, and less expensive options like the Mac Studio have surpassed the Mac Pro’s capabilities.
