Recently, administrative penalty information disclosed by the Jilin Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration shows that China United Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd., Songyuan Central Sub-branch, was fined by the Songyuan Financial Regulatory Sub-bureau—penalty of 620,000 yuan—because it had major violations and irregularities including overstating expenses, preparing false claims documentation, failing to strictly implement separate accounting for agricultural insurance, and having some agents conduct insurance agency work beyond their authorized scope. The relevant responsible individual, Jin Xuesi, was given a warning and fined 140,000 yuan.
