CITIC Construction Investment's net profit is expected to grow by 31% in 2025, CRO Peng Wende will turn 60 years old, with an annual salary of 1.12 million yuan

Ruicai Finance Wang Min On March 26, CITIC Construction Investment Securities Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CITIC Construction Investment”) released its annual report for 2025, showing double-digit growth in both revenue and net profit.

In 2025, CITIC Construction Investment’s total operating revenue was 23.322 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.41%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 9.439 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30.68%.

By business segment, the investment banking business achieved total operating revenue of 3.132 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.76%; the wealth management business achieved total operating revenue of 8.221 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.37%; the trading and institutional client services business achieved total operating revenue of 9.724 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.75%; the asset management business achieved total operating revenue of 1.428 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.75%.

As of December 31, 2025, the group’s total assets were 676.816 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.49%; the equity attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 119.102 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.87%.

In 2025, the domestic equity financing primary market issued a total of 255 equity financing projects, a year-on-year increase of 15.91%, raising funds of 856.101 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 308.26%. Among them, there were 112 IPO projects, a year-on-year increase of 9.80%, raising funds of 130.835 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 97.40%; there were 143 equity refinancing projects, a year-on-year increase of 21.19%, raising funds of 725.266 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 405.71%.

In 2025, the total compensation for CITIC Construction Investment’s directors and senior executives was 16.1152 million yuan. Among them, the Chief Risk Officer Peng Wende’s compensation was 1.1222 million yuan.

Peng Wende, born in June 1966, is about to turn 60. He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a master’s degree in management engineering from South China University of Technology, and a doctorate in business management from Sun Yat-sen University.

Peng Wende currently serves as a member of the company’s Executive Committee, Chief Risk Officer, and head of the Risk Management Department. He joined CITIC Construction Investment in November 2005, became a member of the Executive Committee in July 2019, and has served as the head of the Risk Management Department since February 2023 and as Chief Risk Officer since March.

Peng Wende also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the China Securities Association, the Deputy Chairman of the Securities Risk Control Committee of the Beijing Securities Association, a member of the Risk Management Committee of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and a member of the Statistical Analysis Expert Group of the China Securities Investor Protection Fund Co., Ltd.

Peng Wende previously served as the head of the Engineering Department at Xinda Industrial Co., Ltd., Deputy General Manager of the Guangzhou Branch of Huaxia Securities Co., Ltd., General Manager of the Sanlihe Securities Business Department in Beijing, General Manager of the Chongqing Branch, General Manager of the Southwest Management Headquarters of CITIC Construction Investment, Chairman of CITIC Construction Investment Futures Co., Ltd., and Director, General Manager, and Executive Committee Chair of CITIC Construction Investment (International) Financial Holdings Co., Ltd.
