Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 25 — According to CoinTelegraph, M1X Global, the company behind the Marshall Islands UBI program, has completed a $3 million angel round of funding. Investors include former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan and Cumberland Labs CEO Tama Churchouse, among other crypto industry figures. The funds will be used to expand USDM1 digital sovereign bonds into the institutional market. USDM1 was launched on the Stellar blockchain in December last year, but the IMF has warned that the project poses fiscal risks and cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and believes its benefits do not outweigh the risks.
