I've been studying JSL for several years now, but I haven't learned anything. Is it my fault?

Abstract generation in progress

Is it that I am too low in IQ? It doesn’t seem very low, maybe average.
Is it that my learning ability is too low? It also seems okay, maybe average.

Maybe my learning ability is a bit weak, after all, I scored just over 600 on the college entrance exam in the early 2000s, and it was a Beijing exam.

So is it still because I am stupid?

My analysis, besides the possibility that I am stupid, I think I am okay, and here are a few other reasons:

First, teachers often say too much that is broad and correct, which makes me get only about 10 useful words out of reading a thousand words.
Second, some teachers are too good at storytelling. I love stories, which causes me to forget to think and learn actively.
Third, teachers don’t break down concepts into smaller parts, so I still need to study on my own after class, and I lack the ability to research independently.
Fourth, I lack the eye to discover opportunities.

For those who have learned from Jishi Lu, please share how to learn from this treasure trove and how to improve learning efficiency.
