State Administration for Market Regulation: Food Safety Intelligent Supervision Platform Has Connected Over One Million Entities
Today, it was learned that by 2025, the State Council Food Safety Office and the State Administration for Market Regulation will lead the implementation of the “Opinions on Further Strengthening Full-Chain Food Safety Supervision,” promoting a systematic upgrade in food safety governance, with the national food safety situation continuing to improve steadily. In 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation will continue to vigorously promote “Internet + Visualized Supervision” in food production and operation links, deepen the “Internet + Transparent Kitchen” construction in the catering service sector, guide various regions to install video image data collection devices in phases and batches, and connect them to provincial smart supervision platforms in a layered and graded manner. The national food safety intelligent supervision platform is accelerating its construction. Currently, the Smart Supervision Command and Dispatch Center of the State Administration for Market Regulation has connected 1.026 million food production and operation entities, utilizing big data and artificial intelligence technology to achieve risk intelligent analysis, which will effectively enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and penetration of supervision, making oversight more “sharp-eyed and perceptive.” Meanwhile, the officially launched national internal whistleblower reporting system for food safety has received over 1,800 reports, and the 12315 platform has handled 5.737 million food-related complaints and reports throughout the year, effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the public.
