Caixin February 2026, Tesla sold a total of 14,000 vehicles in the EU market, a year-on-year increase of 29.1%. On March 24 local time, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association released data on new car registrations for February, showing this change. This is the first time since December 2024 that Tesla’s monthly sales in the EU have rebounded.

Driven by February’s sales, Tesla’s cumulative sales in the EU for the first two months of 2026 increased by 16.7% year-on-year to 21,000 vehicles. However, Tesla’s growth rate has not yet outpaced the overall market trend. During the same period, the EU sold a total of 312,000 pure electric vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 22.3%. Electric vehicles accounted for 18.8% of new car sales, up 3.6 percentage points year-on-year.
