Hong Kong stock market closing: Hang Seng Index fell 2.01%, Hang Seng Tech Index declined 0.96%
Hong Kong stocks closed lower, with the Hang Seng Index down 2.01% and the Hang Seng Tech Index down 0.96%. The Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF Yinhua (159318) fell 2.44%, and the Hong Kong Stock Connect Technology ETF Penghua (159751) declined 1.64%. In terms of sectors, energy equipment and services, and gas sectors led the declines. Among individual stocks, Yunzhisheng rose 12.94%, Dongfang Electric increased 11.37%, Jiaxin International Resources gained 8.62%, GigaDevice Innovation rose 6.13%, China Hongqiao up 6.05%; China Gas Public Utilities dropped 21.6%, COSCO Shipping Development fell 13.82%, Sinopec Oilfield Service declined 11.18%, Xuanzhu Biological-B dropped 10.57%, MINIMAX-WP decreased 10.47%.
