Our researchers have achieved a major breakthrough in industrial-grade TOPCon battery technology
Researcher Ye Jichun and his team from the Optoelectronic Information Materials and Devices Laboratory at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with JinkoSolar, Soochow University, China Metrology University, and other institutions, conducted joint technological research. They delved into the key scientific issues behind technical bottlenecks and proposed a new strategy for dual-sided electrical collaborative optimization, successfully achieving a major breakthrough in the performance of industrial-grade TOPCon solar cells. The related results were recently published in the international journal Nature Energy.
