Today's market looks strong on the surface but is actually quite weak. Most altcoins are only making symbolic gains and don't dare to rally, precisely because Bitcoin and Ethereum are only liquidating short positions before continuing to push lower. Only when Bitcoin truly bottoms out will altcoins see gains of 3x or more. Currently, there's no foundation for that. It's similar to the early stages of the 23 bull market—most altcoins had 3x to 10x upside potential, except for a few new tokens used for harvesting retail investors.
