CITIC Finance APP learned that optical communication concept stocks surged again. As of the latest report, Changfei Fiber Optic Cable (06869) rose 9.39% to HKD 159.6; Hongteng Precision (06088) increased 4.95% to HKD 6.78; Cambridge Technology (06166) gained 4.69% to HKD 74.75; and HuiJu Technology (01729) went up 3.51% to HKD 14.74.
On the news front, in 2025, the performance of listed companies in the optical communication sector generally exceeded expectations. Previously, Zhongji Xuchuang released its earnings quick report, achieving a total revenue of 38.24 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 60.25%, with a net profit of 10.799 billion yuan, up 108.81% year-on-year. Xin Yisheng forecasted a pre-profit of 9.4 to 9.9 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 231.24% to 248.86%. Additionally, companies like Shijia Photonics and Tianfu Communications also saw significant growth in their performance.
Guojin Securities released a research report stating that the OFC conference provided optimistic guidance for demand in the optical module industry. The market size is expected to grow 1.5 to 2 times by 2026, with further doubling in 2027 based on this foundation. Arista officially announced the establishment of XPO MSA, launching a 12.8Tbps liquid-cooled pluggable optical module, with panel density reaching 204.8Tbps/OCP rack unit, four times the current 1.6T OSFP solution, providing a path to extend the lifecycle of the pluggable optical module ecosystem. Lumentum predicts that indium phosphide chips will have a CAGR of 85% from 2026 to 2030, benefiting upstream optical chip industries.
