Regarding the upcoming launch of “Shrimp Farming” PC and hardware, Bloomberg quoted an Alibaba (09988) spokesperson who stated that the company plans to release entry-level laptops and other devices for users to access the AI Agent (also known as AI Intelligent Agent) OpenClaw (commonly called Lobster). These new devices will be based on Alibaba’s existing hardware products.

The spokesperson said that, in addition to mobile phones and web platforms, Alibaba plans to offer more ways for users to access OpenClaw. However, the company has not announced a timetable.

Mainland media quoted insiders as saying that Alibaba will launch hardware products such as JVS Book (notebook terminal) and JVS Box (mini PC). The notebook terminal is designed for mobile office use, built on a similar OpenClaw architecture, and deeply integrated with the JVS Claw platform; JVS Box targets desktop office use, serving as a desktop-level AI Agent workstation, also using a similar OpenClaw architecture. These hardware products are led by Alibaba Cloud’s Shadowless team, aiming to extend from the software platform to hardware terminals and build a complete AI Agent experience.
