More than 110 international trains have passed through the Hungary-Serbia Railway freight route since its opening.

On the 23rd local time, Zolt Hegyi, CEO of the Hungarian State Railways, stated that since the official opening of the Hungary-Serbia railway freight service nearly a month ago, over 110 international freight trains have passed through the line. Zolt Hegyi said the next important milestone will be the launch of passenger services at a speed of 160 km/h. The passenger service requires meeting several conditions, including third-party testing of the European Train Control System, approval of dedicated vehicles, and professional training. (CCTV News)
