According to U Today, the Bitcoin network recently experienced a relatively rare two-block reorg. Near block height 941880, mining pools Foundry USA, AntPool, and ViaBTC formed two temporary forked chains in mining competition. Subsequently, Foundry USA continuously mined subsequent blocks, making its chain the main chain and completing the reorg. Researchers stated that such events are part of the normal operation of Bitcoin's consensus mechanism and are neither attacks nor system failures.
