Techub News reports that according to RBK, the Russian Ministry of Finance has proposed adding new provisions to the Code of Administrative Violations, aiming to impose fines of 700,000 to 1,000,000 rubles on non-compliant crypto money transmitters. The bill has been approved by the Government Regulations Drafting Committee. The proposal indicates that licensed crypto money transmitters face penalties if they provide digital asset trading services to non-professional investor individuals and residents who have exceeded government-set limits. Responsible parties will also face fines of 30,000 to 50,000 rubles or be disqualified for 1 to 2 years. The bill currently does not specify concrete types of violations or individual transaction limits. Previously, the Russian Central Bank's proposal from December last year had suggested setting the individual annual limit at 300,000 rubles, but the Ministry of Finance stated that this figure has room for adjustment.
