Axios News reported on the 23rd, citing an American source, that over the past two days, foreign ministers from Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan have been passing messages between the United States and Iran.

The source said that the three foreign ministers held talks with U.S. Special Envoy Wittekov and Iranian Foreign Minister Alaghi.

The report also quoted another U.S. source familiar with the matter as saying, “Mediation is underway and making progress. The discussions involve ending the war and resolving all outstanding issues. We hope to receive a response soon.”

Earlier, U.S. President Trump stated that the U.S. and Iran had conducted “very good and productive” talks over the past two days. However, Iran indicated that there was no dialogue between Iran and the U.S.
