Coin World News reports that according to Korean Economic News, SK Hynix plans to issue new shares and list ADRs (American Depositary Receipts) in the United States, with an issuance scale of approximately 2.4% of total shares. The funds raised will be primarily used to expand high-bandwidth memory (HBM) production capacity and advance the construction of the Icheon semiconductor cluster to solidify its leading position in the global AI semiconductor market. SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won previously publicly stated at NVIDIA GTC 2026 Developer Conference that the ADR listing plan is being promoted.
