Shanghai Securities News China Securities Network News (Reporter Yu Liyan) On March 17, the 2026 NIU Electric Technology New Product Launch Conference themed “True Technology, Just a Little Bull” was held in Beijing. NIU Electric officially released the industry’s first AI smart two-wheel electric vehicle system — NIU Lingxi AIOS (NIU AIOS), as well as two industry-first AI smart two-wheel electric vehicles — the new national standard electric bicycle NXT2 and the high-performance electric motorcycle NX2.

“From lithium electrification and intelligence to today’s AI, the core of NIU Electric’s innovation has always been user value,” said NIU Electric CEO Li Yan. Looking into the next decade, NIU Electric will use AI as a moat to serve users’ mobility with “true technology.” Li Yan believes that currently, the two-wheel electric vehicle industry is deeply stuck in homogeneous competition, with many brands’ “smart” features still limited to basic functions like app remote control. Meanwhile, AI large models, visual recognition, L2-level intelligent driving, and other technologies have become mature in the automotive field, but the industry still lacks truly practical AI-grade products. As a company with a decade of experience in the two-wheel mobility sector, NIU Electric precisely captures this market gap, integrating ten years of data and technological resources to achieve mass production and deployment of AI technology.

The NIU Lingxi AIOS launched at this event is defined as the “central hub of the two-wheel smart ecosystem.” As the “super brain” for two-wheel vehicles, NIU Lingxi AIOS is also the industry’s first mass-produced two-wheel intelligent vehicle system equipped with the Qwen 3.5 large model. Additionally, the first AI intelligent voice system—NIU Classmate Beta version, serving as the riding AI assistant—has also been fully launched for public testing and will be included free with the NXT2. Users can wake up the vehicle with “Hello NIU,” enabling full-vehicle voice control and natural conversation, making vehicle operation more convenient. Its offline interaction technology ensures commands are executed without interruption even in no-network scenarios. In the future, “NIU Classmate” will continue to learn through ongoing training and OTA updates, providing users with more convenient interactions and richer practical scenarios.

At the launch event, NIU Electric announced the full implementation of the “AI New Three” user value proposition. In terms of safety, L2 intelligent driving with visual recognition (three cameras + high-speed radar) will be realized; for convenience, AI voice will integrate with large language models to enable wake-up in noisy environments; additionally, features like pet interaction, team riding, real-time intercom, and location sharing will enhance riding fun across different scenarios.

Li Yan stated that the successful deployment of NIU Electric’s AI technology relies heavily on the deep support of global supply chain partners. Currently, NIU Electric’s partners include Qualcomm Technologies, Zebra Intelligence, Quectel Communications (603236), Shanghai Haisi, Digua Robotics, neueHCT, Hesai, Amap, and others. In the future, NIU Electric will focus on NIU Lingxi AIOS as the core, working with partners to build an open AI ecosystem and usher in a new decade of “building good AI cars.”
