Everyday AI Express: An investor asked on the investor interaction platform: Please inform us about the progress of your company’s new copper mines and the processing of the mining permits for your controlling company’s copper mines?

Northern Copper (000737.SZ) stated on the investor interaction platform on March 13 that the company currently has no new copper mining rights. The copper mine Yumi, owned by its wholly owned subsidiary Shanxi Northern Copper, is in the detailed survey stage for resources below 80 meters elevation. After completing this stage, the company will proceed with deep exploration based on the mine’s production plan, which includes arranging engineering according to standards, accurately mapping the ore body, and ultimately submitting resource estimates and exploration reports. Only then can the company apply for additional mining rights below 80 meters elevation at the Yumi copper mine.
