Known for inheritance disputes, Ho Bak and Ho Tai were involved in a physical altercation outside their residence at King Tin Estate, Tuen Mun, last year. The case was re-heard today in the District Court. Ho Bak indicated he intends to plead guilty, and Judge Chan Kwong Chi postponed the case to May 6 to handle his plea.

As for Ho Tai, she stated she intends to deny the charges. The judge postponed her case to February 11 next year, reserving a 7-day trial period. Ho Tai also applied to the court to return to mainland China, but her application was denied.

Official: Likely to be sentenced to prison. Recommended Ho Bak hire a lawyer.

The judge noted that neither party has legal representation and emphasized that a prison sentence is highly likely. He advised Ho Bak to “find a lawyer to represent you.”

77-year-old Ho Huen and 44-year-old Ye Sau Ting are each charged with one count of intentionally causing injury. It is alleged that on May 30, 2025, at the lobby of King Sing Building, King Tin Estate, 10 King Tin Road, Tuen Mun, New Territories, Hong Kong, they intentionally and maliciously caused serious injury to the other party.
