GEO is definitely going to be a huge opportunity in the future.



Think about it—how long has it been since you last used Baidu or Google search?

When I look up information now, I go straight to AI to help me search. I believe many people do the same.

So where will all those ads that were previously placed in search engines go?

The answer is GEO.

Generative Engine Optimisation.

Advertisers directly pay AI to display their products in AI responses.

For example, if you ask AI what computer you should buy, and Huawei or Apple have paid for placement, the AI will tell you directly, or use clever wording to steer you toward buying Huawei or Apple.

That's the future.

So will future AI still be as reliable and impartial as it is now?

Will it recommend products it genuinely believes are correct and good?

That's an unknown.

But the GEO-related industry will definitely experience massive growth and will capture a large portion of the traditional search engine market's pie.
