Futures market opened early; most domestic futures main contracts declined, with European shipping container freight falling over 16%.

The domestic futures main contracts mostly declined at the opening of the early trading session. In terms of declines, European container shipping fell over 16%, pure benzene dropped over 10%, asphalt declined over 9%, LPG fell over 8%, crude oil dropped over 7%, ethylene glycol, synthetic rubber, and plastics declined over 6%, styrene fell over 5%, and caustic soda dropped over 4%. On the gain side, PTA and short fiber rose over 7%, para-xylene increased over 6%, bottle chips rose over 5%, propylene, Shanghai tin, and Shanghai silver increased over 4%, and international copper, Shanghai copper, and Shanghai nickel rose over 1%.
