"3·15 Gala" Exposes Complete List, Multiple Regions Issue Urgent Notices→
The 36th “3.15” Gala aired on March 15. This year’s “3.15” Gala focused on the theme “Trustworthy Consumption, Quality Life,” highlighting illegal activities that infringe on consumer rights in areas such as food safety, public safety, financial security, and advertising markets.
Viral Chicken Feet Production Workshop Is Disgusting
Involved companies: Shufuxiang, Mingyang Food, Zengqiao Food, Jinshan Pharmaceutical, Yifeng Electronic New Materials
At the initial processing site of chicken feet products, reporters saw that the food processing workshop was filled with a foul smell in the soaking, trimming, and sorting areas, with a nauseating fishy odor. The environment was filthy: the floor was long-term stained with murky wastewater, plastic baskets were haphazardly piled, and machinery surfaces were covered with grime and grease. In this workshop, large quantities of chicken feet were directly piled on damp, dirty floors, with cleaning tools like brooms and shovels casually placed on top. Even when chicken feet were stepped on, workers simply picked them up and returned them to the processing baskets, showing complete disregard for food hygiene and safety.
As the investigation deepened, a key piece of information was uncovered—despite the dirty environment, the final chicken feet products appeared white and appealing, thanks to a crucial “bleaching” process. Workers admitted, “They are bleached with hydrogen peroxide.” Hydrogen peroxide, known scientifically as peroxide, is a strong oxidizer and disinfectant often used for sterilization. According to national regulations, hydrogen peroxide is not permitted in chicken feet processing because it destroys nutrients like proteins. Long-term consumption of foods soaked in it can cause damage to oral mucous membranes, liver and kidney functions, and other health issues. Excessive intake can even be life-threatening.
Workers told reporters they never eat chicken feet soaked in hydrogen peroxide themselves and advised reporters not to eat it either, as the chemical’s toxicity is well understood by the workers. Investigations revealed that multiple food companies use hydrogen peroxide to bleach chicken feet.
Viral Miracle Drug Exosomes Are Actually Unapproved Products
Involved companies: Haolin (Tianjin) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Yuanchuang Gene Technology Co., Ltd., Jebosar Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
“Exosomes have been really popular in recent years, especially in anti-aging circles,” is a recent product description in the medical aesthetics market.
Through multiple medical publications and industry insiders, it was learned that the “miraculous” substance called “exosomes” promoted by influencers is actually a bioactive substance secreted during stem cell cultivation. However, its mechanisms, clinical testing, and other medical procedures are not yet clearly established in the medical and academic fields, remaining mostly in research and theoretical stages.
Counterfeit production, illegal additives, and illegal sales are not the full extent of the “exosome” chaos. Some companies also engage in false advertising, claiming their “exosome” products can beautify, anti-age, and even treat various diseases—exaggerating their efficacy.
These so-called “exosomes,” which lack national approval, clinical trials, or efficacy data, are packaged by these companies as “panacea” medicines, even injected into patients’ bodies through “proxy” methods. The profits are substantial. A company executive revealed, “The first dose uses 150 billion particles, the second 200 billion, and the third 250 billion. Gradually, a total of 600 billion particles, costing 60,000 yuan.”
Meanwhile, many consumers are complaining online about “exosome anti-aging” treatments: “I only had exosomes, and my whole face got infected, with severe acne,” “I got the injection and had an allergic reaction, my face was ruined for three months,” “Almost no effect, just a scam.”
Height Increase Agencies Use Superstitions to Frenzy for Profit
Involved companies: Dejiruì, Yingruike
Posing as a franchisee, reporters visited the headquarters of “Anlishen Youth Physical Height Increase.” The person in charge admitted frankly: “Kids are supposed to grow anyway, right? Even if they don’t come to us, they will grow. We just don’t tell parents that.”
Investigations found that some physical height increase agencies not only defraud young people but also claim to help adults with closed growth plates. The head of Dejiruì Youth Physical Height Increase admitted, “For adults, it’s just about straightening your bones, not making new ones grow. Trying to open closed growth plates in adults is impossible—it’s all lies.”
When asked about the scientific basis and medical support for their height-increasing methods, the person in charge said he had no medical data or clinical validation reports and just wanted to make money. “It’s just a business claiming to increase height physically. Whether it’s scientific or not, we still make money—it’s very profitable.”
Different tactics are used for different groups, clearly exploiting people’s height anxiety as a scam. Before the investigation ended, such stores continued to expand. For example, Dejiruì has over 70 stores across more than ten provinces, Anlishen has over 60 stores, and Yingruike has over 30 franchise stores. Relying on sales pitches and false claims of “high-tech” and “patented technology,” these height-increasing businesses deceive consumers and reap huge profits.
“Private Domain Marketing” Yields 5x Profits, Targeting Elderly
Involved companies: Dahan International, Shengwei Cultural Media Co., Ltd.
The “3.15” Gala undercover report found that “online video production companies” are key players in private domain marketing. These companies purchase selected products from pharmaceutical or health supplement companies at low prices, then produce health lectures and other videos, which are sold to private domain marketing firms. These firms guide consumers to social media private scenes, play the videos, and promote products.
The drugs and health supplements purchased for these videos are very cheap, but their market prices are often inflated nearly five times. For example, a common auxiliary medicine is exaggerated or misrepresented in its effects and sold at nearly five times the market price.
Behind each scam video targeting elderly consumers, there are professional planning companies helping produce “scam scripts.”
A “Chinese Medical Association Ophthalmologist” Ding Yuqiu admitted that to produce such videos now, one must have a medical license, and to speak well, money can buy titles.
Electric Bike Rental Speeds Exceed Limits
Involved companies: Hei Qishi Tribe, Hello Ride, E-bike Brother
“Speeds can reach 40 to 50, even 60 km/h.” Recently, many livestreamers on major platforms enthusiastically promoted their electric bike rentals. Several hosts openly violated national regulations, claiming their products exceeded standards and were very fast. The “3.15” Gala tested a rental bike from a shop and found it reached speeds of up to 80 km/h.
Investigations revealed that not only individual local rental shops but also some well-known chain brands violate national standards. A staff member at Hello Ride said their bikes can go up to 75 km/h.
Using franchise contacts, reporter M. spoke with the provincial manager of Hello Ride, who disclosed that before the new national standards, some suppliers obtained licenses for bikes that hadn’t yet been produced, then had manufacturers produce bikes according to old standards, which naturally bypassed speed restrictions. The company “E-bike Brother” directly supplies electric motorcycles with license plates that are actually just bought, with no limit on quantity and at low cost.
AI Large Models Are “Tainted”
Involved company: Liqing GEO
According to industry insiders, a service called GEO claims that for a fee, it can make a client’s products rank highly in major AI large models, making their ads the “standard answers” given by AI.
We contacted Li总, the operator of the Liqing GEO system. He explained that GEO’s popularity is mainly because it can “feed” and “poison” AI large models to achieve clients’ commercial goals. He said, “To do GEO, the key is to ‘publish articles’ on internet accounts. For example, for a phone brand, there are five or ten positions. How to handle so many phones? With hundreds of millions in ad spending annually, spending a few million to ‘inject poison’ is feasible.”
He added that GEO’s boom has led to many companies and platforms specializing in article posting, which are used to manipulate AI models and “poison” data.
Stock Tip Agencies as Scammers
Involved companies: Tianshun Investment, Xinbenke Information Consulting Co., Ltd.
Since early 2026, a stock investment scheme called “stock tip fraud with 50/50 profit split” has attracted many investors.
Industry insiders warn that many so-called “stock tip profit-sharing” advisory services online are scams run by criminals impersonating legitimate financial institutions. If the recommended stocks profit, the scammers take a cut; if they fall, they disappear, using “covering losses” as a bait to trap investors.
A staff member from a company claiming to be Tianshun Investment recommended buying 2,000 shares at 18.82 yuan each. But within two weeks, the stock kept falling, and the reporter had to sell at an 8% loss.
Tianshun’s general manager, Da, explained that their operation involves calling potential investors daily, using prepared scripts to persuade them to buy specific stocks. When asked what happens if clients lose money, she said simply, “That’s their problem.”
The “research reports” they recommend are just a front; the stocks are chosen by the boss himself. The company relies on clients’ own funds to trade, enticing them to buy, and sharing profits when stocks rise. When stocks fall, they vanish—this is their “sure-win” stock recommendation scheme.
