Abstract generation in progress

Tech News from Phoenix Net: On March 16, Apple officially announced the launch of the new generation of over-ear noise-canceling headphones, AirPods Max 2. The starting price is 3999 yuan, with pre-sales beginning on March 25, and official release scheduled for early next month. As a core upgrade, the new headphones are fully equipped with the H2 chip, filling gaps in Apple’s audio product line in areas such as adaptive audio, conversation awareness, and personalized volume in intelligent computing audio.

In terms of core acoustic and noise-canceling performance, thanks to the H2 chip’s computing power and new algorithms, the AirPods Max 2’s active noise cancellation is improved by 1.5 times compared to the previous generation. Apple has equipped the device with a new high dynamic range amplifier to optimize instrument positioning and low-frequency response in spatial audio. Additionally, the headphones officially introduce a USB-C port, supporting 24-bit, 48 kHz lossless audio transmission in wired mode, further meeting the needs of music creators and professional workflows. The wireless audio latency has also been reduced.

In terms of interaction experience and appearance design, the AirPods Max 2 adds a voice prominence feature for calls and studio-grade audio recording options. It also incorporates the Siri head gesture interaction (nodding to agree, shaking to decline) previously used in other AirPods models. The device expands its camera remote control function, allowing users to control their mobile device’s shooting via a digital crown. The new product is available in Midnight, Starlight, Orange, Purple, and Blue colors. Its acoustic components and packaging significantly increase the use of 100% recycled materials, supporting Apple’s 2030 carbon neutrality plan.
