SK Group Chairman: Chip Shortage Will Continue Until 2030, SK Hynix Is Reviewing Possibility of US ADR Listing

Odaily Planet Daily reports that on Monday, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won stated that the global chip wafer shortage may continue until 2030 due to demand driven by artificial intelligence outpacing supply. Chey Tae-won said SK Hynix is reviewing the possibility of listing on the US ADR to expand its global investor base, while its CEO may announce plans to stabilize DRAM chip prices.
