Estée Lauder Officially Announces Entry into Vipshop, Launching High-Performance Products for the Beauty Festival

Estee Lauder, a renowned international beauty brand, recently announced that its official flagship store will join the VIPS.US flash sale e-commerce platform and will launch several products at highly competitive prices for the Spring Beauty Festival opening at 10 a.m. on February 25.

Estee Lauder is a globally famous beauty brand, ranked 169th on the 2022 Hurun Global 500 list and included in the 2023 Fortune 500 U.S. list, ranking 230th. Its iconic products, such as the Little Brown Bottle and Pomegranate Extract Toner, are household names in skincare and beauty.

A VIPS.US spokesperson stated that Estee Lauder has always been an important beauty brand on the platform. The platform’s user base mainly consists of women pursuing fashionable lifestyles, which closely overlaps with Estee Lauder’s target audience. The official flagship store’s entry greatly enriches the supply of popular Estee Lauder products on the platform and also provides consumers with a more assured authentic product experience.

Notably, after the official flagship store’s debut, several products were selected to participate in the Spring Beauty Festival. For example, its popular Zhi Yan Essence Cream 75ml, now available at only 996 RMB for 135ml; the Little Brown Bottle Essence 50ml, with three 15ml and one 7ml matching serums included, priced at just 870 RMB.

It is understood that, besides Estee Lauder, many other well-known beauty brands experienced a surge in prices after the Spring Festival. For instance, L’Oréal’s Gold Collagen Eye Cream is only 107 RMB; Clarins’ Double Serum 100ml is as low as 766 RMB; and Chando’s Time-Reducing Spot-Whitening Gift Set is priced as low as 238 RMB. Additionally, VIPS.US’s spokesperson mentioned that during the Spring Beauty Festival, the platform also launched 180 RMB beauty product coupons and offered official subsidies on popular items.

Industry insiders note that the increased focus of major brands like Estee Lauder on flash sale e-commerce platforms reflects their emphasis on limited-time discount markets. For consumers, this presents an opportunity to enjoy high-cost-performance luxury beauty products, which could further boost the beauty consumption market.
